Introduction

SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools)

In 2000, the SACS visiting committee recommended without reservation the continued accreditation of Brookville High School. Currently, BHS is beginning the new SACS School Improvement Plan for 2005. We will finish this process in the Fall 2005.

A SACS accredited school is part of an international network of accredited schools who have demonstrated success in education children. As such, SACS accreditation is recognized throughout the world as a symbol of quality in education for students and teachers. To earn accreditation, schools must meet SACS quality standards, be evaluated by an outside group of professionals, and implement a school improvement plan focused on increasing student performance. Accreditation is voluntary and must be renewed each year.

Attention parents and students: Please continue to check this website as your input will be needed in the future. For more information, please contact Christine Brown (cbrown@campbell.k12.va.us ) or Ellen Humphrey (ehumphrey@campbell.k21.va.us ) or call the school at 239-2636.
