Greater
Lynchburg's Junior Miss scholarship program is currently accepting
applications for the 2009 program. Any girl that will graduate in the spring
of 2009 is eligible to participate. Applications are available in Guidance,
or you can contact the Junior Miss committee at
GLJMNews@aol.com or 525-4778. For more
information you can go to the America's Junior Miss website -
www.ajm.org You can
register there and you will be contacted from the local program.
A Candidate/Parent Orientation will be held on Sunday, May 18, at 2:00 pm at
Timberlake United Methodist Church. Please contact the committee if you will
be attending.
The 2009 Junior Miss scholarship program will be held on Sunday, September
28, 2008 at E.C. Glass High School.

Lily
Voth, Morgan Fletcher, and Courtney Rowe represented Greater Lynchburg at
Virginia's Junior Miss scholarship program in February, in Salem, VA. Lily
was named Virginia's Junior Miss 2008 and will represent Virginia at
America's Junior Miss, Mobile, AL in June with 49 other state winners. This
is the second year in a row that Virginia's Junior Miss comes from the
Lynchburg Junior Miss program.
