Dear Classmates:
As of September 27th, only 62 people TOTAL from all classes have committed to attend the event. The breakdown by class is: 1966 (6), 1967 (30), 1968 (17), 1969 (9). A committee meeting was held on September 27th to decide what to do, since the turnout is so low, and is not enough people to support the original plans. The result of the meeting, which included representatives from all four classes, are below: THESE EVENTS ARE CANCELLED, TO BE REPLACED BY AN ALTERNATIVE PLAN: Friday October 19: Golf Tournament, Tailgate Party, New London Steak House. Saturday October 20: Picnic at Moose Club, Reunion Social Time & Dance at Moose Club. HERE ARE THE REVISED PLANS (These plans still include the classes of 1966-67-68-69): For any check that we have received and deposited, a check will be written and mailed to refund that money. Checks that were received recently that have not yet been deposited will be returned. Friday October 19: Football Game at BHS vs Staunton River (kickoff @ 7:30 PM) UPDATE: Many people are still interested in going to New London after the game Friday night. New London Steak House has said that they would still accommodate us. We would like to have an idea how many people will be coming to New London. Contact your class representative and let them know if you want to go to New London after the game. Saturday October 20: Dinner & social time at Vinny's at 7001 Timberlake Road (across from Wards Ferry Road). This will be downstairs in their Banquet Room. Each person will be responsible for their own expenses. The time for Saturday night at Vinny's is from 6:00 PM until 10:30 PM.
