WHAT
IS THE SCRIP PROGRAM?
The scrip program is a way to fund school programs without spending any
extra money when you buy groceries or shop at Sam's Wal-Mart, Food Lion or
Kroger.
How does the program work? You buy gift cards to the store of your choice
from a Brookville representative and the card may be used like cash at the
participating store.
EXAMPLE: Estimate your weekly expenses to be $100 at Kroger and $100 at
Wal-Mart. Write a check for $200 to Brookville Scrip. Ten dollars (5% of
your check) goes to the BHS program of your choice and you have gift cards
with $200 spending value. BHS programs include:
1. After grad fund (separate funds for classes '06, '07, '08, '09)
2. BHS Band
3. BHS TSA
4. Boys' & Girls' Tennis
5. Competition Cheerleaders, Football Cheerleaders
6. Swim Team
7. Or any organization where more than one family is willing to contribute
regularly.
Checks are distributed at the end of each semester to the groups that have
raised money. The system is in place. The work of picking up the scrip and
accounting for the profits on computer, by family and program, are done
for you. Take advantage of an easy way to make money for our school.
