BROOKVILLE HIGH SCHOOL
CLASS OF 1957 50th. Reunion
April 27- 29, 2007

Hello, Class of 1957 Brookville Bees!
YAHOO!...Soon, all of the year long
preparations for our 50th. Class Reunion will become a reality. We are
so excited and really looking forward to seeing everyone for a
celebration of memories and our times together!
The Class of 1957 was special for many reasons. As seventh grade
students we learned we would not be eighth grade Freshmen like those in
previous years, but the first class at BHS having to complete the 12
year curriculum requirement for graduation. Our eighth grade
introduction to high school was the beginning of five high school years
of memories that will be celebrated during our fiftieth reunion April
28, 2007. A 192 page Reunion Book and a very special keepsake will be
given to classmates and teachers as a remembrance of the occasion and
those wonderful years we shared at the old Brookville High.
On March 12, 2007, a packet was mailed to every classmate with
complete details and a SCHEDULE listing additional opportunities for
classmate get-togethers, renewing old friendships, getting reacquainted,
reminiscing and mingling during the Reunion Weekend.
A “Welcome Back” Dinner in the reserved private room at Charley’s
Restaurant on Friday evening, April 27th. will begin the weekend
festivities. Saturday morning golfing at Ivy Hills and site seeing
excursions before the “BIG EVENT” on SATURDAY NIGHT…and attending Sunday
morning worship service in the new 6000 seat Thomas Road Baptist Church,
where special reserved seating for the Class of 1957 has been
arranged….are some of the, “options of interest” that will
provide more opportunities for conversation and the enjoyment of being
together again!
Your response, enthusiasm and support has been fabulous and we look
forward to seeing everyone for a great reunion weekend! Take care, God
bless and we will see you in April for our 50th!
Sincerely,
The BHS Class of 1957 Fiftieth Reunion Committee:
Margie Hudson Maddox, Louis & Jane Temples Kiger, Jim
Overacre, Linda Smith Mayhew,
