Dear Alumnus,
Hopefully,
you have made plans to attend the Brookville High School Class
of 1986 25-year reunion.
This event will take place August 6, 2011.
If you would like to attend the reunion, please complete the
accompanying registration form and mail it along with your
payment of $30.00 per person to the address provided at the
bottom of the registration form. Feel free to bring along your
spouse or a guest to the event. Because the extras we would like
to include are dependent upon the number of attendees, we hope
that you will respect our
registration deadline of July 1, 2011.
The event
will be held at the Boonsboro Ruritan Club, which is located on
Bradley L. Gaertner Drive—right off Coffee Road and just 1.6
miles from Boonsboro Road (see
http://boonsboro.ruritan.org).
Social hour begins at 4:00 p.m. (hey, it’s 5 o’clock somewhere)
with light finger foods provided. A barbeque meal, with plenty
of sides and desserts, will begin at 6:00 p.m. Entertainment (to
be determined) will begin at 8:00 p.m. Dress will be
casual—meaning that shorts, jeans, or the like are expected
attire. To minimize the
costs for attendees, please bring your own beverage(s) of
choice.
We still have many alumni who have not been located. If you are
a member of Facebook, please check the BHS Class of ’86 Reunion
website on Facebook to help us locate missing friends. If you
are not a member of Facebook, please help us spread the word to
others. The committee’s goal is to extend this invitation to all
alumni.
To save mailing costs and for the sake of efficiency,
registration packets and updates will only be mailed to the home
addresses of attendees without known email addresses. Otherwise,
updates will be sent via email and/or Facebook. We hope to have
some updates soon regarding nearby hotels offering us a
discounted group price as well as transportation options for
individuals who wish to consume alcohol and avoid safety and
legal issues.
