Brookville Trivia

Phil graduated from Brookville in 1980.  His favorite subjects were English and History.  In his English class what he enjoyed most was the writing (isn't that ironic!)

Sports
Football - 1979-1980 (Running Back, Quarterback, and Safety).
Track and Field - '78, '79 and '80.  High Jump, Long Jump and High Hurdles. 
State Champion in 1979 and 1980.

Favorite Teachers - David Webb and Lillie Spain.

Favorite Musicians/Groups during BHS Years - Billy Joel, Earth Wind and Fire, Elton John, James Taylor and Merle Haggard.

Favorite Weekend Activities - Anything that had to do with sports or music
with his buddies.

Songs written about high school friends:

I'm Alright recorded by Jo Dee Messina was written about Mitch Nuckles  one of Phil's best buddies (he is now Commissioner of Revenue of Lynchburg).

Also
Joe and Rosalita was written about Tim Dudley and his wife Cheryl.  Also friends of Phil's.  This song is on Phil's CD that is out currently.
