Jordan Dail was named Pitcher of the Year, Morgan Bruce was named Player of the
Year,
and Coach Ferguson was named Coach of the Year.
First Team All-District players included Jordan Dail, Megan Dray, Morgan Bruce,
Danielle Calloway,
Vivian Maddox and Rebecca Hesson.
Second Team included Hannah Wright and Jordyne Vance. Honorable Mention went to
Bri Atkins.

swimmer of the year also became one of the first female state champions in
Brookville history,
swimming a 2:08.13 in the 200 IM at the 4A State Championships.
She had an impressive day, also taking second in the 100 fly with a 57.55.

It was Curry’s second state title. He won the event in 2012 and was
state runner-up in 2013.
He finishes his Brookville career with a 175-9 record.

Stephen has had a very successful indoor track
season. He has had 3 new personal records and has broken a few records at LU.
The Liberty University men won the Big South Championships on Saturday, March 1,
2014. Stephen had a great meet. Freshman Stephen
Racanelli, came
in second in the 200, third in the 4 x 400 relay and fifth in the 60 (6.88 a
personal best). Racanelli's 200 dash time was a personal-best 21.51 effort,
moving him up to third place in program history. It was the fastest indoor 200
clocking by a Liberty runner since Jeremy Wagner's 21.47 effort at the 2003 IC4A
meet.

at Boston University Friday through Sunday, March 7-9.

Bees Swim Team State Championship Results
Thanks to coach Lee Lewis
The Bees competed in the 3A State Championship
Friday. The Girls finished 9th and the Boys finished 12th.
The results are as follows:
Ashley Mauzy won the 200 IM.
Her time broke Amber Wingfield's team record by
over two seconds.
She also finished 2nd in the 100 fly just behind
World Championship qualifier from Western Albermarle, Remedy Rule.
Caeley McMillan placed 9th in the IM and 8th in the 100 Breast.
Kelsey Childress placed 12th in the 500 Free and 15th in the 100 Back
Kelsey Naylor placed 13th in the 500 Free
The 200 Medley Relay consisting of Childress, McMillan, Mauzy, and Naylor placed
6th.
The 200 Free Relay of McMillan, Amanda Naylor, Kelsey Naylor, and Mauzy placed
9th.
On the Boys' side, Bricesen Burton placed 5th in the 50 Free and 4th in the 100
Free.
